How to subscribe on your iPhone

1. Copy the Airbnb calendar export link for the correct listing.
2. Open Apple Calendar and tap Calendars.
3. Tap Add Calendar, then Add Subscription Calendar.
4. Paste the full link. On iOS 26 or later, tap Find; on iOS 18 or earlier, tap Subscribe.
5. Give the calendar a recognizable name and color. Choose iCloud if you want it on devices using the same Apple Account, then finish with Done or Add.

Apple documents these version differences in its calendar subscription guide. Menu labels can vary with your iOS version.

Open Calendars again and check that the new calendar is selected. Compare a known booking with Airbnb before using the calendar to plan a clean.

Can you show only cleaning days?

Yes, with a Calbnb subscription. First create a schedule from your Airbnb link. Open the cleaner’s shared page, choose Add to calendar, and select Apple Calendar. The feed contains all-day reminders on reservation checkout dates; the usual checkout and check-in times are in each event’s description.

A cleaning-day subscription and the original booking subscription answer different questions. The first shows when a turnover is due. The second shows the stay. If you keep both, name them clearly, such as “Cottage — stays” and “Cottage — cleans”.

Will it update automatically?

A subscription can fetch changes; a one-time .ics import cannot. Apple controls subscription refreshes. Calbnb checks its Airbnb source about every 15 minutes, but an Apple subscription to Calbnb adds another refresh step, so it may show changes later than the shared web page.

Why are bookings missing or duplicated?

• Make sure the subscribed calendar is selected in Calendar’s calendar list.
• Check that you copied the whole URL from the right listing.
• If old dates never change, check whether you imported a file instead of subscribing.
• If every booking appears twice, check for two subscriptions or an old imported copy before removing anything.
• If a date looks one day short, compare the actual checkout date rather than the last shaded night.

Use the sync diagnosis steps to find whether the delay is in the source, Calbnb or Apple. Deleting and re-adding a subscription is not a guaranteed way to make the source publish a change sooner.

Can your cleaner use the same link?

They can subscribe on their own iPhone. Treat a feed URL as a private access link: possession of it lets a calendar reader fetch the feed. If you prefer to keep the original Airbnb URL to yourself, share a Calbnb cleaner link instead. It opens in Safari and the subscription is optional.

Sharing a read-only calendar does not assign a clean or send an automatic message. Agree how your cleaner will confirm a turnover and how you will communicate exceptions.
