Match the tool to the missing part of your workflow

What to look for
Your problemA useful starting point
“I keep sending booking screenshots.”A shared schedule or Airbnb calendar-only co-host access.
“My cleaner wants dates in their own calendar.”An Apple or Google URL subscription.
“I do not know who accepted the clean.”A task system with assignments and acknowledgement.
“I need photos and a completed checklist.”A housekeeping app with completion evidence.
“I have several booking channels and teams.”A system that explicitly supports those channels and workflows.
“I need invoices and automatic payments.”A service with the payment process you need.

These are selection criteria, not claims that every cleaning app offers every feature. Check the provider’s current documentation, pricing and limits before adopting it.

What Calbnb does today

Calbnb is a free website that reads one Airbnb export feed per calendar and creates a cleaner view. It shows reservation checkout cleans, blocked dates, usual times and same-day turnovers. Cleaners open a link without an account, and optional Apple or Google subscriptions show cleaning-day reminders.

The host can edit settings, change the source URL, replace the cleaner link or delete the calendar. The private host link is saved in the browser and should be kept separately; there is no email account recovery.

See the example calendar before adding your own feed. For a regular cleaner who already confirms work in messages, this may be enough.

What Calbnb does not do

  • Assign a job to a named cleaner or record that they accepted it.
  • Send automatic text, email, WhatsApp or push alerts.
  • Collect cleaner photos, checklists, time tracking or completion reports.
  • Pay cleaners, issue invoices or find a cleaner for you.
  • Manage prices or synchronize availability across booking channels.
  • Read guest counts, actual arrival times or sofa-bed instructions from the feed.

It also is not real-time: Airbnb must publish a change and Calbnb must fetch it. A subscription in another app adds a further refresh stage. If an instant workflow is a purchase requirement, test the exact timing and failure behavior of any service you evaluate.

When should you use Airbnb’s built-in option?

If your cleaner already uses Airbnb, calendar-only co-host access may solve the problem without another website. Try it with a real turnover and check whether the cleaner can find the dates easily.

Choose Calbnb when the simpler browser link or checkout list is useful to your cleaner. There is no need to move a working process simply because another tool exists.

How to test a cleaning app before committing

  1. Use a real example of the workflow you need: a regular turnover, a changed checkout and a cancellation.
  2. Confirm what the cleaner must install, pay for or sign into.
  3. Check whether a new or changed job produces an alert and whether acceptance is recorded.
  4. Check what happens if a feed is stale or the assigned cleaner is unavailable.
  5. Review what data the service receives and how access is revoked.
  6. Check the total cost for your actual number of properties and cleaners.

A test should answer whether fewer cleans are missed or fewer messages are needed. A long feature list alone does not tell you that. Keep a simple handoff routine whichever system you choose.

Share the dates. Keep it simple.
